Dr. Achina Stein is a DO physician, Board Certified psychiatrist, and has been in practice since 1994. She is a certified practitioner of the Institute for Functional Medicine, and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. She was awarded the Exemplary Psychiatrist Award by NAMI-RI in 2008. Located in RI, she is the co-owner of a private practice, Functional Mind LLC.

Dr. Stein uses functional medicine to help patients find the underlying or root causes of illness and the nutritional and biochemical imbalances that may be contributing to them.
